| Inspiration | "My father had a choking episode in December of 2006 that was very frightening to me. After he was able to breathe better again and other family was present to watch him, I went to the computer and Photoshop to catch my own breath. I had been working with the tree using different ideas for the large knot, and with Dad fresh on my mind, I brought his picture up as well. Within a few minutes I had the picture you see here, but I really don't remember how it came together. The haunting appearance of the picture reflects the feelings of that evening." - D. Olsen |
